FAQ

Learn more about how Bucketism is right for you!

How is [ insert X object ] a bucket?

Questions like this come from an impure place of not looking at it right. Give your contemplation some time to percolate and let the bucketness of the object fill your sensory apparatuses, a process known as “bucketing” after the “bracketing” operation of Husserlian phenomenological reduction. You may also benefit from reading our official Abridged List of Things that are Buckets. The absence of a thing from that list does not imply that it is not a bucket—an obvious absurdity—but merely that in the bucket of the universe there is a finite amount of spacetime in which to write the list of all buckets.

What advantages does Bucketism pose over traditional organized religions?

So many!

  1. Our dogma is much, much shorter and easier to memorize.
  2. The time saved reading inscrutable tracts can be spent contemplating the bucketness of things.
  3. No scandals (yet).

How does your faith stand in relation to the Abrahamic religions specifically?

Abraham is a bucket of religions.

What about Episcopalianism?

Episcopalians believe that everything is a pail if you look at it right, so they could and should be considered a sect of Bucketism.

Do you have any hymns/prayers?
